I'm sorry for my unfortunate comment, what I meant is that running mono
on a solaris box makes less sense than running on linux given hardware
and support costs. If some shops want to do it, I'm happy for them to be
using mono. ;)

But, anyway, we have no plans into making solaris maintainers life any
harder that it already is, in fact, they are more than welcome to upstream
their changes and shine some light on how some of our direction changes
affect them - so they can be course corrected.

Been portable to windows/linux/osx helps other OSs a lot given those three
differ more than they share in common.
