We will continue to package Mono for various platforms, yes.

That being said, now more than even, we need developers from multiple
distributions to package Mono.  See the packaging list for details.

MonoMac is too good to give up!

It is.  And we share the code of MonoMac with our upcoming iPhone product,
and we are also using it for our own tools.   So we will keep developing it.
