[Mono-dev] Mono's future

Are there any metrics on Mono usage? Number of end-users, developers,
projects, companies, by platform, etc. etc.?
(apart http://www.mono-project.com/Companies_Using_Mono )

(and, yes, we all hope Mono and Xamarin will blossom, not only on mobile
platforms but also Linux, osx and windows with full compatibility with .NET)

I do hope that Xamarin will also offer Mono for Mac OS X, Linux and Windows
like Novell did before.

MonoMac is too good to give up!
