[Mono-dev] On a solaris-SPARC install, have no sunmath lib

Apostols,
Tks for that response - i've since installed Sun Studio - not intending to build from scratch, but to get the sunmath libs!
Am hoping to use the pre-built version of mono for our testing; it was apparently built with SunStudio. This is a gotcha others may want to be aware of.
Given a choice, we almost always use gcc! Thanks, Lou

Do not compile with SunStudio: use gcc!

In this new age of Solaris, every new library dependency strikes terror into the hearts of men...
In our new Mono install - well, actually, it was installed a month or so ago - we finding that the dependency on sunmath.so is not fulfilled. (We are getting our first chance to do some testing...) Before we go off trying to locate original media, is this a reasonable finding? Is there some replacement for sunmath we might look at? Does someone know the package name offhand?
TIA, Lou
