Not sure why we would advise people against working on the current
code base.  If we were to build a Cecil-based assembler, it would be
based on our current assembler, with the backend replaced.    So
investing on it is still a useful thing to do.

And it is worth mentioning that there wont be a Cecil-based assembler
for a few years.
