[Mono-dev] Seeking advice regarding mono and .net incompatibility

In the case of 502115 the idea is that the user can set the environment
variable to MONO_STRICT_MS_COMPLIANT and get the Microsoft behavior and
that seems to be on the Mono tree now.

We do this in a case-by-case basis, and your patch is now on Mono, and
should at least appear on Mono 2.6 in September or so, so we are able to
satisfy both goals.
