[Mono-dev] libgdiplus 2.4.2 configure error: cairo backen fonts

Trying to configure libgdiplus and i'm running into issues:

configure: error: Cairo requires at least one font backend.
                  Please install freetype and fontconfig, then try again:
                  http://freetype.org/  http://fontconfig.org/

configure: error: ./configure failed for cairo

What version of cairo is being used here with libgdiplus2.4.2?
