[Mono-dev] POS for .net on mono

Hello,

I am developping a mono app on linux, and I want to use Point Of Sale
devices (printers and cash drawer for now). I jst saw MS POS for .net which
seems interesting but does not run on mono.

I am considering writing something similar for mono () but I am concerned
about legal issues. Can I create an assembly with the exact same API to
facilitate porting app using POS for .net to mono or do I need to create a
different one ?

If the same API can be used, do I need to reuse the namespace
"Microsoft.PointOfService" or not?
