[Mono-dev] running mono on Ubuntu 8.04

thanks for the reply. Slicehost have (quite reasonably, I think), refused to
install the latest kernel so I'm left running a script to install mono 2.2
provided by another of their customers.

As I write this it's still running, I hope I can report that all's fine at

This is a bug in Ubuntu 8.04's kernel package. Upgrade to the latest kernel
package in 8.04 and *reboot* (It's kernel).
