[Mono-dev] Adding Powerpc64 port

Hello, I have been asked to do a mono port for powerpc64. I am new to
mono and still learning my way around and so would appreciate any
pointers from experienced mono developers.

I would especially like to chat with the original and/or current
maintainer of the powerpc32 port. I assume a good way to learn is by
fixing some of the more annoying ppc32 bugs. Also I see that mono is
adding SSE vector and was wondering if there was interest in the
equivalent PPC (G4/g5/ppc970, and Power6) Altivec/VMX support.
