[Mono-dev] Deploying a mono app to linux

Hello,

I know there must be a guide somewhere for deploying my C# and GTK# mono app
to Linux (SUSE, Ubuntu, Fedora most important).  If one such guide exists
could someone point a linux dummy like me to it.  I am not looking for
anything fancy, just something that is within the realm of normalcy, this
program is NOT targeted at developers so I would prefer if
its moderately easy to install and I want the user to get a menu item and
desktop icon etc.

Also I know this may be an inappropriate place but I will ask anyway, what
about OS X I would like to do the same there.
