[Mono-dev] Multithreaded compilation (make -j)

Hi,

I had to rebuild my mono svn checkout from scratch and run into many
different problems during the process. All of them due to the fact that I
have 'make' aliased to 'make -j4'. When I build mono with 'make -j1' it
compiles fine, but using 4 processes seems to botch the dependency checking
(especially in corlib). Is this supported? I remember there were some
patches posted to the list (see
http://lists.ximian.com/pipermail/mono-devel-list/2007-May/023417.html ).

Regards,

skolima
