Recently i found a short review of such Symbian port of .NET Compact
Framework. It's an interesting experience.
Maybe some of your questions will have its answers.

A while ago, Andreas, you were saying you tried to get HelloWorld app
worked on emulator.
What happened with this project? Is it possible to look at it?
