You may do it but, as I said on the bug, "I don't think NHibernate 
developers would like to patch their work in order to work with Mono 
(perhaps yes as only a temporal workaround), or then we could get into a 
similar world as the web developers are in, where they have to take care 
of each browser that exists in the world."

If we put a workaround in NHibernate, tomorrow we will have to patch 
another library.
