I tracked down recently a bug[1] in Mono running NHib 1.2, but the 
problem is:

- I haven't had much time to dig more into it, even for writing the unit 
tests.
- As Sebastien points out in the bug, the change would break some things 
in Mono that are now relying on that behaviour, and thus it would 
involve more work and complexity for cooking a complete patch.
- Perhaps fixing this and running NHib again, it would yield more bugs 
:( Hopefully not.

BTW, check NHiberLINQ out, it seems a good combination of both worlds ;)
