Good Day,

Further to my post last week, I have isolated the problem and provided 
an example.

This sample works as it stands. If you remove the xmlns= directive from 
the xml file
or if you make an error in the .xsd filename, mono silently refuses to 
read the xml file
and returns no records.

I tested this example on a winxp system with the .xsd missing and only the
.exe and .xml file present. It works just fine.

I guess if the .xsd is required by mono, perhaps a warning or exception 
as it is not required
by the windows implementation.
