Sorry, I was wrong about the assumption the files got touched.
Only one of my quite ancient Linux kernel 2.2.23 behaves like
that, maybe due to its memory mapping implementation.
Please try to create a test case and fill a bug with
Bugzilla at http://www.mono-project.com/Bugs.
