[Mono-dev] Binary output?

[Redefined Horizons]

When the JIT compiles the Mono bytecode, or IL, what is produced? Is it
actually binary instructions for the microprocessor?

If this is the case, does the JIT have to be customized for each
architecture/proceesor?
