By the time you'll start we should have released mono 1.2, so that
should be the best starting point. Even if we haven't released, we could
provide you with a beta release which would be good enough: it's a good
idea to ping us again at least a couple of weeks before starting.
Also, feel free to ask about any issue you may have with the port.
