Where in the code is it implemented then? I have found out now that I 
didn't notice the class I pointed was inherited from other class 
(ComponentResourceManager : ResourceManager) but I don't find it (its 
code should be in the same directory and with the filename 
ResourceManager.cs I suppose...).

Yes, I have posted a bug at bugzilla.ximian.com with a zip file that 
includes a minimal testcase of a simple application (which is only a 
form that displays an image embedded as a resource) that fails:
