[Mono-dev] gacutil problem

Hi,

I've compiled the MySQL connector and have run gacutil -i MySql.Data.dll
which gacutil reports has been installed into the gac
(/usr/lib/mono/gac).

When I try to compile using it thought, I get the error that mcs cannot
find the assembly MySql.Data. I've run gacutil as both me (user) and su
and get the same result. Does it matter if I did this with the .NET 1.1
or 1.0 release?

Any ideas on this?
