Actually, if this example could be achieved, it would very possible
that, in my particular case, my company be interested in it for the
Linux-side of the ClickOnce technologies we are deploying, so I guess I
am not a rare case and many other people would benefit from it too.

BTW: I suppose you already know about this extension [1]. Has anyone
tried it out? What would prevent it for working with Mono (either in
Win32 or Linux)?
