[Mono-dev] Tar file for mono-1.1.9 is useless for build

Thank you for the advice.  I used Gnu Tar  and it extracted all the files
into the correct directories.  I also noted the actual tarball only is well
understood under Gnu Tar, I tried WinZip 9.0 and 7Zip and both had some
trouble (duplicated files, actually files with the same name wich should go
into different directories, but the directory information seems missing).

 

I think  the format of the tarball some way deviates from the usual format
the other programs understand.
