[Mono-dev] addins to mcs?

I was wondering if it would be possible to develop "plug&play" addins to
mcs?
My ideia to make it possible to developer to extent mcs to their needs, an
example would be to make mcs to translate a SQL query to a "object" model...

Any ideas?
