[Mono-devel-list] mono 1.1.8 - monodebug - what do i need to do to make it run?

I keep forgetting my default mail system generates html mail which arent
supported here..

i tried (several variants) what you suggested i get the following:

mike at vqlinux:~/monotest1> mono ../mono-1.1.8.1/lib/mono/1.0/mbd.exe
main.exe.mdbcannot open assembly ../mono-1.1.8.1/lib/mono/1.0/mbd.exe
mike at vqlinux:~/monotest1> mono mdb Main.exe.mdb cannot open assembly mdb
mike at vqlinux:~/monotest1> mono mdb Main.exe cannot open assembly mdb
mike at vqlinux:~/monotest1> mono ../mono-1.1.8.1/lib/mono/1.0/mbd.exe
main.exe cannot open assembly ../mono-1.1.8.1/lib/mono/1.0/mbd.exe

the documentation i was basing my initial attempt on can be found at:

which suggests that mdb Main.exe should work. I have compiled the app
"hello world" with the debug option.
