The entire mono stack, including MD and gtk-sharp2 will be included in
Ubuntu in a tested working state.  I can guarantee that packages that I
ship are working, same as "bundling" things into one big stew.

The problem comes some months down the road when developers (and
bleeding edge users) try to build new upstream releases / cvs using a
different API.  They will be in the same boat as the last Ubuntu
release, where they were on their own to update a bunch of the platform.
If at all possible, I'd like to give these people a stable platform to
build on this time around.
