As prior in this thread, I am using Linux 2.6.10 as located on
kernel.org with no patches.  By your test, it seems that this kernel
does not include Ingo's ExecShield patch.  Ingo's page on ExecShield
includes a patch for 2.6.10, so I have further belief that this kernel
that I am running does not include this functionality.
