Do you have a sqlsharpgtk.exe.config.in file? 

If yes, just copy the file to sqlsharpgtk.exe.config

For Mono.Data.ProviderFactory, you name the app.confile file to your 
executable assembly name plus .config.

I heard it can be put into your machine.config file, but I have to tried 
this.
