I've narrowed this down to something in the code path for compiling 
dynamic methods. As far as I can tell, this code path is only ever 
executed for the Stream delegates (in 
mcs/class/System.Drawing/System.Drawing/gdipFunctions.cs). All other 
delegates that are created are created as non-dynamic methods. Is there 
a reason for this difference?

Any help would be much appreciated. In the mean time I'll continue 
working on this.
