[Mono-dev] Some info on the compiler

Hi,

 

I'm looking for some details on the mono compiler. I would like to expand it
with some keywords, etc - basicly rework it. Figuring out the parser part
was pretty straight forward, but some help on the actual emitting of code
would be great. It would be quite some help if the developers could just
share some thoughts on what their motivation was for the construction of the
parser and how the classes work together. Of course if there is some
documentation in that direction somewhere, a pointer would be nice. I don't
seem to be able to find any on the website.
