[Mono-dev] monodevelop loading error

Hello all,
I hope I am posting to the right list. I just installed mono (1.1.8.2)
and monodevelop (0.7.0.0) on debian sarge with IceWM and it is giving
me the following error:

i tried to google for help and search the archives and am unable to
tell what the problem is. monodevelop runs as root and am unable to
run as normal user. what am i missing? any help you could provide
would be most obliging. i guess i could sudo all required users but
want to try other options before that.
