[Mono-devel-list] Is monocharge-latest fubar'd?

Hi,

I'm on a fresh virgin machine and I'm trying to build mono. I've grabbed
monocharge-latest, dearchived and run env prefix=/usr ./recharge.sh as
su.

I've moved into mono, run ./autogen.sh --prefix=/usr, make. It gets
through to building mcs and gives the error

/usr/bin/mcs: /usr/bin/mcs: cannot execute binary file

I've checked also if mcs.exe is able to run and neither seem to work.

Is this my box or is the latest monocharge (20041123) just broken?
