I've been trying to get MonoDevelop installed on my Mac (OS X 10.3) for a
couple days now without luck. I've been following the instructions at
http://www.mono-project.com/using/macos.html. At this point I'm
getting a bunch of DllNotFoundException's when trying to run
MonoDevelop, or any Gtk# app. I've exported the proper evironment
variables such as: DYLIB_LIBRARY_PATH, and LD_LIBRARY PATH but I'm
still not having any luck. The instructions on mono-project.com and
monodevelop.com differ slightly so I'm wondering if following the
instructions on monodevelop.com might get me further.
Can anyone offer any guidance so that I can enjoy the pleasures of
MonoDevelop on my Mac? Or is it too early in the game to expect to
get MonoDevelop rocking on a Mac?
Thanks,
Steve
