[Mono-devel-list] trouble compiling debugger

hello,

after getting newest versions of mono/mcs/gtk-sharp via cvs and
successful compilation I tried to ./autogen.sh in the debugger
directory.

i quits with the following error:

checking if using the libedit library is requested... yes
configure: error: Cannot figure out how to link with the libedit
library; see config.log for more information

i attached the config.log. i use fedora core 2.

anyone knows what is wrong?
