[Mono-devel-list] mono compiled, installed - libgdiplus compiled and installed - missing gdiplus.dll

I now have mono, mcs, and libgdiplus installed and
compiled on Sparc Solaris 8.  Also I did a 'make
clean' and 'make install'
inside mcs/class/Managed.Windows.Forms directory after
installing mono and mcs. 
  Now when I try to run mono against a .exe with a
windows form I get a missing gdiplus.dll.  Where is
that found?  Is that something with gtk or gtk-sharp?
