Keep in mind that this is primarily a "tool" for assisting in manual
compilation.  Any package using autotools, for example, will likely
still be using PKG_CONFIG_CHECK and AC_SUBST in their configure.in to
get the libs into their mcs command.

The idea is more targetted at:

mcs -pkg gtk-sharp GtkHelloWorld.cs

simple compilations, not really at compilations requiring a build system
like NAnt or Make.
