[Mono-devel-list] locale problem with mono 0.91

Hello,
I have just upgraded to mono 0.91 and I am having problems with my current encoding iso-8859-7 (greek). Any program that uses System.Text throws a 'not supported' exception.

I have tried changing the LC_* enviroment variables but although this change affects other programs, mono still finds that I am using iso-8859-7. How does mono determine the current encoding and how can I change it? Any other solutions?
