Fixing a few bugs is always the best way to start to get comfortable
with the code base. Go to bugzilla.ximian.com and search for bugs in
the Mono components (or Gtk#, etc.). Read the bug reports, and see if
there is one that tells you:
	"I'm your bug, you know I waited so long for you."
It's not easy to find such bugs, because most of the time they just say:
	"Go away you little bastard! You cheated on me! I won't take it
	anymore! I know you went to play with at least 20 other bugs!"

But when you get a hold of it, the feeling is likely to be exhilarating
and addictive.
