The GTK implementation is still being worked on by "Joel Basson." 
According to mono-patches, there was a commit to it last saturday
(January 17, 2004).

I have no idea how complete, or how much more work, the GTK+ version is,
though the January 15 commit log mentions that many classes are
"Finished", such as Panel, GroupBox, Application, etc.
