Did you first run mbuild with the -i [directory] parameter? It should
give a nice error message if you don't but maybe something got messed
up. Try removing .monkeywrench.log and see if you can un-confuse it.

In general, errors are not handled very well yet, especially broken
preconditions. I'm working on it.
