[Mono-devel-list] Monodoc Merging Patch || editing.cs

I couldn't get `monodoc --merge-changes` to work so I tracked it down to
the editing.cs file.  I made a few minor changes related to the files
existence being checked etc.  Attached is a patch that is allowing me to
merge documentation.  Hopefully it helps elsewhere.
