Well, I wanted to say that you can find the include in the Cairo 
development packet but it is not installed by default because it's internal.

We are in a process of implementing the font handeling. It's not clear 
which functions we are going to need yet and which internal cairo 
functions we will need access to. Until the implementation is finished 
and working, I do not think that makes sense to request additions or 
changes to the Cairo people.
