Hi,

normally, I'm upgrading the libgc in mono each time a new release comes
out.  Unless there's a good reason for it, I don't really want to import
alpha version because - as the name already sais - they're most likely
unstable.

If you want another libgc, you should be able to give configure the
--with-gc=boehm argument, this should make it use the installed one
(--with-gc=included is the default).  If it does not, then this is a
bug.
