[Mono-devel-list] MCS bug?

The fact that it is recursive is not something that the compiler should
check, however csc does give the warning 
   
   "test.cs(5,13): warning CS0169: The private field
   'TestProperty.prop' is never used"

Which mono does not. Should this be reported as a bug in mcs in its own
right?
