Actually it use the SSL/TLS support of Mono.Security to allow LDAP over SSL
(ldaps).

  I noticed Miguel added a Mono.Security reference to the Makefile for
Novell.Directory.Ldap. Could anyone tell me what the library needs to
reference inside Mono.Security?   I would like to see if I can have the
library utilize the existing BCL without the overhead of another dependency.
