[Mono-devel-list] Can you run MonoDevelop on Windows?

Isn’t that defeating the purpose of using Mono? I think its stupid to make
MonoDevelop support Windows, when It’s a Mono application and it should run
on any OS that has Mono/.NET installed.

No. MonoDevelop is an IDE for linux and unix-like systems. On Windows, the
normal option is visual studio .net and the cheapskate option is
SharpDevelop.
