[Mono-devel-list] Issue of binary portability of a hello world application

It appears that VC++ is compiling the executable with a reference to 
Microsoft.VisualC.dll. I can't tell whether the assembly actually *uses* code 
in that library, but the assembly does reference it.

If you'd like to make that assembly available or email it to me personally, I 
could elaborate.
