Hi there,

The 28th of April, I will be doing a workshop about mono. If you feel
that it's important for me to talk about a specific topic, then please
inform me about that topic.

This presentation will happen at "Katholieke Hogelschool Leuven -
Departement Rega". This is in Belgium. (They searched the mailinglists
and found out that I live in Belgium and that I did some contributions
to mono some time ago, so they asked me to do this presentation).

I am planning to show some Gtk-Sharp demos, some Hello World demos and
show that both will work on both Windows and Linux. If the current
development status of it is okay, I will also show the
System.Windows.Forms namespace. I am not planning to show a CVS-version
of Mono. I am confident those students prefer to stick to a packaged
version of Mono. I don't want to explain that they should compile Mono
from CVS. It would only scare them away from Mono.

This translates to:

I will not go into very technical details during the workshop unless we
are talking about students who do have a lot of experience in .NET
progamming. In that case I could show some portions of the
classlibraries of Mono.

This translates to:

Well, I can be a little bit technical. Most students do have a year or
more experience in Java. So they do understand the basic principles of
object oriented programming. To be sure about the technical level of
your presentation it might be usefull to send it to us first. That way
we can determine whether or not the average student will understand the
talk.
