[Mono-devel-list] GTK# for mono-0.30.2 dependencies?!?!?

Since WinForms is nowhere ready, I thought I try GTK# for GUI-fying an app.
How do I resolve the following dependencies:

Why this dependency hell?  And don't pull the RED CARPET from under me 
stunt.
I am a MS Windows user and programmer and love the KDE Desktop.
Gnome is a place in Alaska to me.

P.S.  I am getting the rpm's from "go-mono.com" download page for 
mono-0.30.2.
P.P.S.  It would be nice if I could just use urpmi and urpmf, since I am 
using Mandrake 9.2.
P.P.S.  You really need a discussion thread just for mono newbies, your 
stuff is like watching sausage being made.
