[Mono-devel-list] Mono Performance outlook...

I recall reading on slashdot that mono performance on windows is, roughly
around 80-90% of the .NET Framework.
 
Personally, I have noticed that the mono C# compiler is a tad bit faster,
and I have not noticed any difference in execution time.

New to the lists and Mono and am just wondering what the performance has
been like (if anyone has really tested against windows machines with .net).
 
Anyone have anything to say about potential performance?
